TEACHING
PRACTICE PHASE I
(13/2/23- 17/2/23)
On
13/2/23,after the morning assembly , I had sixth hour in VIII-C . I continued teaching the chapter The
Merchant Of Venice part III .
On
14/2/23, I had third hour in VIII-C , where I continued teaching the chapter.
Each day I was more happy to know that students understood my teaching. I also
included new techniques to capture their attention . During the afternoon
session we the B.Ed trainees had organized
a Coscientization Program based on the topic Lifestyle Diseases. After a formal
beginning involving school authorities , we began the class . I did the
powerpoint and presented it. My fellow B.Ed trainees presented each topic . We
also got a good feedback from the students as well a faculty.
On 15/2/23
, I continued teaching Merchant Of Venice in VIII-C . Students responded very
well to all the queries. They also actively involved in all discourses given.
On 16/2/23
, I had fifth hour in VIII-C . I finished the chapter The Merchant Of Venice. I
also took students for their P.T hour during fifth period .
On 17/2/23,
I had two hours in VIII-C , so I decided to finish the poem My Grandmother’s
House by Kamala Das . I also made sure that
the students understood the chapter taught as well as they were kept engaged
through out . I also included ICT to grab their attention.
This
week I was able to see a gradual change in me a s teacher trainee. I was more
responsible. I was able to take better classes than before. The conscietization
programme also was an experience where we could help students be aware of their
unhealthy life styles.
