                                     YAVANIKA DAY 5

Today as the part of camp , we went to ASHRAYA , Kalayapuram. We met so many people there with many difficulties and those who were left there by others . We interacted with them, saw their facilities, did cultural programs for them and gave money as well as some essentials. They also arranged lunch for us. It was a heart -felt experience . By afternoon we left to Varkala beach . Had a funtime there and returned back home by evening . 

The 5 day camp was indeed a fruitful experience. We learnt so many new things , made new friends . It was an experience of sharing , caring , fun, co-operativeness , team work and so much more. To me it was indeed one of the best memories of B.Ed days.

YAVANIKA -DAY 4

                                                        YAVANIKA DAY 4

The day began with Yoga .Today my team was part of COOKING COMMITTEE. Sharika was our team head today. We decided to make biriyani today with chicken fry , salad and pappadam. We began our work early in the morning. By 11:00 AM we gave refreshments , and by 12:30 we served lunch . Group D had cleaning committee today .We resumed by 2:00 PM and had cultural programs by group A . Group B presented news report . Further the day concluded with the mock parliament , where we raised the merits and criticisms of each group.Further the day concluded by Vellakka party, where a few students teamed up to sing songs. 

YAVANIKA - DAY 3

                                     YAVANIKA -DAY 3

The day began with Yoga .Today my team was part of Cultural program and survey committee. Rakhi was our team head today. Accordingly we spilt up and conducted survey in Manjappara on the topic  " Drug Abuse among youths in Mnajappara locality ". While others prepared for cultural programs .We had dance performances as well as games to engage the audience.  

By 11:00 AM we were given refreshments , and by 12:30 we had lunch break served by Group B . Group A had cleaning committee today .We resumed by 2:00 PM and conducted the cultural activities and presented survey report .Jeny, a group member of Group D presented the news .Further the day concluded with the mock parliament , where we raised the merits and criticisms of each group.

YAVANIKA -DAY 2

 The second day began by Yoga session at 8:00 AM.Today my team was part of the media committee .Ajin was our team head today. Accordingly we split up into teams . Some of them went for reporting news stories , a few of us created newspaper and prepared for the evening news presenting session. 

 Group B had cleaning committee today. By 11:00 AM we were given refreshments , and by 12:30 we had lunch break served by Group A. We resumed by 2:00 PM . We had an orientation class today by Mr. Binu Pinumootil who took class on "Jaiveekamaya Adhyapana Shaili" .Further  we witnessed the cultural activities by group D .Then Devi from our group presented the news report while i managed the powerpoint related to it. The newspaper we presented was titled "Kulamkalakki" .

 Further the day concluded with the mock parliament , where we raised the merits and criticisms of each group.

YAVANIKA - DAY 1

                                      YAVANIKA : DAY I

Today was the first day of our Community Living Camp . By 8:00AM we had a short yoga session . Then by 10:00 AM an inaugural ceremony was organized ,where our respected principal Mrs. Shyma Nahas along with our teacher’s inauguarated the ceremony . The Chadayamanagalam CI Mr.Sunil G was invited as the  chief guest. After the inauguration we began the regular routines of the camp such as cleaning ,cooking,news reporting, preparing for cultural activities etc. For each of these activities we were divided into a team of four.

On the first day my team was part of the cleaning committee.Devi was our team head today. Accordingly we cleaned classrooms , office, general hall, staff room , school campus surroundings etc. We also planted a few plants in a vase and placed it in college corridors. By 11:00 AM we were given refreshments , and by 12:30 we had lunch break served by Group D . We resumed by 2:00 PM and witnessed the cultural activities by group B.Nivedhitha, a group member of Group A presented the news . It was a funfilled session.Further the day concluded with the mock parliament , where we raised the merits and criticisms of each group.

As the part of B.Ed curriculum we organized a Community Living Camp titled YAVANIKA . The camp was scheduled as a five day program , held in the college campus . The camp was organized from 14^th March 2023 to 18^th March 2023.

An e-content had been created by me as the part of fourth semester work . The video is based on the poem My Grandmother's House by Kamala Das from the Unit V : Share and Care ,  from the English textbook (SCERT) of VIII grade.
