                             ENGLISH ASSOCIATION PROGRAMME

As the part of English Association , we had planned an activity oriented programme for the eighth grade students of Manjappara High School. The programme was planned for the afternoon session. Accordingly we had invited the three divisions of eighth grade students ,divided them into 4 groups through random mix-match. Then we began the programme . 

We had created a number of activity based games based on their 8th grade SCERT syllabus. The games included jumbled words, guessing the character , guessing the author , vocabulary games , etc. I anchored the programme . The rest of the members helped in cordinating these activities. Each team was given points based on each activity they completed without error. All students participated very well . We also helped out students whenever they needed.

 Finally team C won the competition and we gave ecah student of that team a special prize. We also distributed chocolates to the rest of the students . Then we took feedback from the students about the programme. Two students among them also came forward to sing a song for us. We were able to manage all students pretty well. It was a memorable evening . We and the students enjoyed it alike.

"THIMIRTHONAM 2K22" - ONAM CELEBRATIONS

                            THIMIRTHONAM 2K22

 As part of the Onam festival, our college decided to conduct an Onam celebration on September 3rd 2022. For this celebration our teachers had formed some committees like program committee, food committee, cleaning committee and finance committee. Each committee consisted of first year and second year students.

All these committees had planned and executed their tasks very well.The programs started at 9.30 am . We all had planned a color code of red blouse , we all dressed up accordingly.

First we made a common Athapookkalam, where I got a chance to draw the outline of the pookalam.  All teachers and students contributed their presence in the making of this Athappookkalam. We had organised a wide variety of programs such as group songs, thiruvathira, Malayali Manga,Malayali Machan, Sundharik pottu thodal , kasera kali,vadam vali, flash mob etc . We also had a grand onam sadhya.

After the Onam celebrations the college closed for Onam holidays.
